"2nd edition of Innovative Technologies for Manufacturing Expo" from March 5-7, 2009 at the Expo Centre, World Trade Centre, Mumbai.
This event is supported by Department of Industrial Policy and Promotion - Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Dept. of Scientific & Industrial Research- Ministry of Science and Technology, Ministry of Power, Ministry of New and Renewable Energy, Government of India and Government of Maharashtra.
The 1st edition of the ITM Expo was a phenomenal success with over 50 participants from overseas and 70 Indian participants, 6000 business visitors and 1000 B2B meetings which generated new business worth an estimated US$ 150 million. The ITM Expo was an excellent platform for commercial exchange of technologies and joint venture between corporates and technocrats from over 10 countries.
In order to give fillip to the manufacturing sector amidst increasing competition, fostering the applications of innovative technologies for advanced manufacturing would result in increased productivity, improved product quality, greater operational flexibility, yielding competitive advantages and better performance in the world market. To this end, the ITM Expo'09 seeks to showcase to the manufacturing sector, the latest innovations and technologies developed across the globe for forming joint ventures, technology transfers, research and development alliances, licensing deals and other outsourcing arrangements .
The Expo will showcase sectors which include Automation and Engineering, Agro technology, Food Processing and packaging technology, Electronic and electrical engineering, Environmental technologies, measuring systems, quality management systems and energy related sectors.
The scope of the Expo goes beyond the framework of traditional trade fairs. ITM EXPO includes B2B meetings, thematic discussions, specialized presentations, demonstrations and shows of modern technologies and machines in operation on electronic media.
The rate of participation will be USD 275/- per sq. mtrs.(Shell Scheme) and USD 190/- per sq. mtr ( Raw Space).
